Volunteers: Great Yarmouth Art Festival 2014 Needs You!

Great Yarmouth Art Festival

Volunteers are required to help with town’s 2014 art festival.

The 10 day Great Yarmouth art festival, commemorating the life and work of Hollywood Film-maker and cinematographer Jack Cardiff, who originally hailed from the town, is looking for around 35 volunteers to help deliver leaflets before the event starts, as well as undertake stewarding and a range of other roles once the festival begins.

The Great Yarmouth art festival begins on June 6th with the purpose of promoting the arts across East Norfolk, and big names like Jonathan Miller and X-Factor winner Steve Brookstein will be making an appearance. The biggest event, undoubtedly, will be the celebrations marking the centenary of Yarmouth’s famous Jack Cardiff, whose films will be screened for free alongside an exhibition of memorabilia and film-making workshops.
