Great Yarmouth is a great place for your Easter bank holiday
As befits one of the most famous towns of the Eastern region, there is an abundance of things to do on the Great Yarmouth Easter Bank Holiday. Take a trip around the town’s beloved seafront to get a feel of all that this wonderful town has to offer or even pop into the local aquarium to spend your freedom with the fish and turtles. There’s also a wealth of casinos – like the ever popular Grosvenor Casino– and a variety of fairground rides lining the promenade, keeping just about everyone entertained and full of fun.
If museums are your thing, though, Great Yarmouth is home to one of Norfolk’s most beloved museums: the Norfolk Nelson Museum. It’s full of historic artefacts and photographs (disabled access is also available). The Merrivale Model Village is only a brief walk away, too, and is a real replica of some of the most famous sights in the East of England and across the world. It might be small, but one thing can be certain: your Great Yarmouth Easter Bank Holiday will be anything but tiny. It’s called ‘Great’ Yarmouth for a reason!
