Get ready for an event that’s sure to have you swaying.
No, there are no swooning singers involved, but the arrival of the beer and cider festival 2011 in Great Yarmouth.
Between Thursday 28th April and Sunday May 1st visitors will be able to sample over 100 locally produced beers and ciders at the Blackfriars Brewery, in the CourtYard Complex, Great Yarmouth.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to sample some great locally produced drinks. And if the weather stays as sunny as it has been, there will be no excuse not to get yourself down to Great Yarmouth next weekend.
There are sure to be some interesting tipples this year, including a specially brewed ale that will commemorate the Prince William and Kate Middletons Royal Wedding, which coincides with the dates of the festival.
As well as a royally inspired ale, the festival will include zesty lime ciders and beers with chilli flavourings.
Norfolk and neighbouring county Suffolk have been known for their production of beers and ciders. The festival would be a great chance to see what these counties have to offer, have a great day out and maybe get a bit wobbly kneed!
