Great Yarmouth Wind Energy Museum, Repps with Bastwick (map)
Meeting at the Wind Energy Museum in Repps with Bastwick, guests will amble across the river bank to Thurne Mill for a tour and talk about its history and future. Afterwards, the group will stroll through the picturesque Dewbeck Woods on a return journey to the Wind Energy Museum for a strawberry cream tea and guided tour.
Well-behaved dogs are permitted, so long as they're kept on a lead. The walk is mostly on grassy, even terrain and is generally suitable for wheelchair users. The whole circular walk is about 4.5 miles in total, and guests are advised to wear suitable clothing.
The walks run until Saturday and cost £10 per person, with free entry for under 5s. There's free parking at the Wind Energy Museum car park, and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is essential. For more information, see http://www.windengines.co.uk/
