A Bumper Year For Yarmouth’s Tourist Sector

The legacy of the 2012 Olympics and some of the hottest summers in recent years are set to have a beneficial knock on effect in 2015

At Love Great Yarmouth, we’ve seen unprecedented numbers of visitors to our site in 2015, with our Great Yarmouth free parking guides, Great Yarmouth celebrity walks and Great Yarmouth holiday accommodation proving especially popular.

Norfolk’s tourist attractions have also welcomed the influx of visitors. Martin Dupee, operations director of the Dinosaur Adventure, Banham Zoo and Africa Alive, told the North Norfolk News: ‘We are heading for a record year at Dinosaur Adventure with more than 200,000 visitors now being projected and, following lean years, both zoos are back well up to where they should be.’

In recent years we have seen some of the sunniest summers on record, which has led to thousands of families heading east to Great Yarmouth for a weekend of good old British seaside fun in the sun.
